Overview
Seven days in Greece is enough for a memorable first trip, but not enough to see everything. The smartest way to plan one week is to keep your route simple and focus on quality over quantity. Greece’s island network makes multi-stop travel possible, but a short trip works best when built around two bases at most. Ten days gives you much more flexibility in Greece. It is long enough to combine Athens with two islands, or to slow down and explore one larger destination properly. Because ferry and island connections become more frequent from spring through autumn, this timeframe works especially well for first-time island combinations.
